[DIPECHO Network] Practical Action Bangladesh wins the APFED Gold Prize

Dear colleagues,

Practical Action Bangladesh (PAB) has won the gold award of the 'The 
Ryutaro Hashimoto APFED Awards for good practices'. The awards are given to 
organisations in recognition of practices that made outstanding 
contributions in promoting environmental management and sustainable 
development in Asia and the Pacific.

PAB was presented the gold award for its quality of environment management, 
alternative strategies for disaster risk reduction and sustainable 
development practices adopted in its project "Disappearing Lands: 
Supporting Communities Affected by River Erosion".

We would like to congratulate PAB for this achievement. Attached, please

presentation announcing the awards.
