Warm greetings and namaste from a wet wet Kathmandu, Nepal!

The monsoon season is here, with rice planting in full swing. ICIMOD is 
also gearing up for its new Strategic Plan 2008-2012 under the leadership 
of our new Director General, Dr. Andreas Schild. See the PAC+meeting and 
the Lucerne Conference in Switzerland, among other news that I am pleased 
to share with you today.

Our big breakthrough for June is that ICIMOD books are now freely available 
as pdf online at www.books.icimod.org

As always, I am very happy to receive your comments and feedback and feel 
greatly encouraged that you keep on reading and writing in to us.

Now I am going on leave there will be no circular in the month of July!
